Ten (Non) Essentials:

1.  I'm Jennifer.  You can call me Jennifer, Jen, or Jenny; I honestly do not have a preference. I'm 25. 
2.  I'm an environmental engineer, though my work has me dealing mainly with real estate issues at the moment.
3.  My dream is to be a published writer.  I do not write often enough to call myself a writer, so I refer to myself as a "pseudo" one. 
4.  I'm very close to my family; I live about four hours away from them at the moment, and sometimes that even is too far.
5.  I was born in Italy, lived in Virginia for nine years, and raised in Texas for the rest.  I consider myself Texitalian.
6.  I've been running for nearly seventeen years now, since I was 8, and it is the one activity that keeps me into a relatively sane person.  It also helps me counteract the effects of my sweet tooth.
7.  I am in love with Lindy Hop and dance as often as I can.  If you haven't tried it, you are missing out.  
8.  I was a tomboy when I was younger, and though I've retained my roots, I love fashion and have to stop giving in to my shoe fetish.
9.  Some things I love: good music, going to concerts, funny movies, engrossing novels, feeling content.
10.  I'm a little bundle of contradictions, and this journal is all about documenting my journey through adulthood.
